The Hotel is located right in Hanoi's historic and lively Old Quarter. In this area, there is a lot to do and a wide range of food, drinks and shops. The hotel is a little oasis in the streets filled with scooters and crowds of people. Here you can explore Hanoi from its undisguised and lively side and at the same time experience very quiet nights in clean rooms in the middle of the city. David the hotel manager was our lifesaver upon arrival in Hanoi. We, as a couple with little travel experience, had a small culture shock on the day of arrival in the very hot, humid and crowded metropolis of Hanoi. David speaks perfect English (which you can‘t take for granted in Vietnam) and tries very hard to make his guests feel comfortable, je immediately offered us a room with a better view and arranged a wonderful trip to Ha Long Bay with an overnight stay on a ship for the second day. Since we were celebrating a birthday, David and the ship's crew even organized a surprise on the boat Boy our request - all in all it was a very great experience at a very good price-performance ratio. Both he and his receptionists are always of great help, e.g. when it comes to arranging drivers, exchanging money or planning sightseeing. The entire hotel staff is very friendly. When we arrived a few minutes late for breakfast, we were offered something to be brought to our room or to come to the restaurant again. I think this example speaks for itself. Overall we are very happy to have booked this hotel for our arrival in Vietnam. It is perfect for European and Western travellers.

Great location- and the staff were brilliant. They helped make our trip to Hanoi a great experience. David and his team worked tirelessly to make our stay really enjoyable and was always available on WhatsApp. Once we’d booked with Booking.com David got in touch with us and helped us to organise our trips to Sapa and Halong Bay and our airport transfers. This ensured we had a completely relaxed and enjoyable time. To demonstrate this, when we mistakenly left a valuable piece of clothing on the cruise boat at Halong Bay, and only realised that we’d left it behind once we’d left Hanoi, David reclaimed the item from the cruise ship and forwarded it on to our hotel at Ho Chi Minh, and treated it as it being no hassle or problem.

We liked this hotel and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was excellent. I am rating this hotel NO better than an ordinary three-four star hotel. I have spent hundreds of nights in Booking.com hotels and this, in my view is no more than four. The restaurant is only open for breakfast. There was no "Hot Tub", but an ordinary bath tub. No bath robes, no private entrance, no city view...all were advertised to be there. The city view was over a bunch of metal roofs and the walls of some tall buildings.

The hotel has a good location, very close to the busy area in the old quarter (about 5 minutes walk) and to the famous Train Street (10-15 minutes walk). There are several grocery stores nearby, a couple of cafes and restaurants (some very nice). Staff is very friendly and helpful. We booked two tours with the staff and were very happy with both the price and the agency they worked with. Also, we needed a local Sim card and they solved the problem very fast at a very convenient price.

Large, clean room in a very central location in the Old Quarter. The stand out here are the staff - the receptionist who greeted us and the manager (didn't get their names, wish we had!) were amazing. Great English and extremely helpful, went out of their way to let us check in early and arranged a last-minute trip for us. The receptionist also gave some great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. Great breakfast.
